Greek School End-Of-Year Celebration Announcement from Denise:
This Tuesday (May 30th) will be the final chapter of this school year!
We expect everyone to come on time, at 5:30 pm. The children will practice one last time with their teachers, whereas the parents (who will partake in the feast) can set up their potluck table and get settled in. Bringing food is not necessary if you are only interested in attending the graduation ceremony and not feasting. We will begin promptly at 6 pm.
There is no specific dress code, but we would like everyone (including you) to be comfortable enough to dance :)
I will invite each student on stage by class, to give them their graduation certificates and then, they will perform their poems or dances. This will be very brief. The children will dance 3 different dances alone, and then we all get to join in!!!!!
Please let us know what dish you are planning on bringing in order to ensure variety like last year. Since it is a "νησιώτικο γλέντι", wine and ouzo are welcome :) Like last year, there are no volunteers to clean up after the event. Each family will be required to clean up after themselves.
