Memorial and Trisagion Services

Today is the 4-year memorial for Stamatina Pahos. She is the mother of Sofia Vassilaras and Maria Chryssos. We also include in today’s Memorial Kristen Austin who passed away about a month ago. She is an Orthodox neighbor of Eamon Burke. Our love and prayers go out to Stamtina, Kristen, and their families. May their memories be eternal!
Holy Communion

Please alow our Sunday School teachers with their students to approach the chalice beginning with the first as they need to head to class. Then, starting with the first pew, followed by the second pew, etc. approach the chalice via the center aisle. If you are not Orthodox or not prepared to receive Holy Communion please come forward and ask the priest for a blessing.
Saint John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival!!

On Saturday, February 17th at 11am we will have a practice run for our oratorical festival. The esteemed Bill Chriss will give advice and guidance to those practicing their speeches. On Sunday February 25th, the Oratorical Festival will begin following the Divine Liturgy. This is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to learn and discover more about our faith.

Intro Into Orthodoxy Class

Bible Study

Every Thursday from now until Lent we will continue our Bible Study through the book of Matthew. On Thurs. Feb. 8th at 6pm at Fr. Thomas’ home, we will start chapter 8.

Please note that Father Thomas will be available for confession each Saturday after the service of Great Vespers. There is no need to make an appointment. As always, if you would like to schedule a time outside of Saturday evening for confession please contact Fr. Thomas.
