Fellowship Hour
Today's Fellowship Hour is a High Tea hosted by the Mother Maria of Paris Outreach Ministries. Besides tea, there will be quiches, tea sandwiches and desserts. There will be tea pots on each table to receive your generous donations for the Outreach Ministries as they aid our Parish Family and our community.
Community Carolling
Our annual Christmas Carolling at the Bel-Air Nursing Home will take place on Saturday, December 15 at 2:00 pm. All are invited to bring some Christmas joy to the people there. We can carpool from the Church parking lot after the Outreach Ministries High Tea Fellowship.
Parish Council Elections
Congratulations to Dimitri Tsihlis, who will be serving another term on the Council, and to Christine Langley and Kathy Saab who will be joining the Council for the first time.
Angel Tree
Please make sure to get your unwrapped toys back to the church today so we can get them down to the Salvation Army tomorrow.
Ministry Workers Needed!
The Friendly Kitchen volunteers from our church are in need of more volunteers. We serve on the first Monday of each month. We get to the Kitchen about 3:30 pm and usually finish at about 6:30 pm. We usually do not cook. Our main meal is normally donated by the members of our generous community who own restaurants. It is a very rewarding ministry. Please see Freda Spiro if you are interested.

Interested in a Little Adventure?
We will begin our on-line Orthodox Book club after Christmas and Theophany. If you are interested in joining the group, please see Fr. Constantine.
Ask the Priest
Sometimes we have questions, but cannot seem to find time to ask Father. Now there is opportunity to leave these questions in the "Ask the Priest Box" located in the Church Hall (it's bright green--you can't miss it!). Father will field the questions once a month in the sermon, as well as in the weekly and monthly bulletins. You can sign your name or not, it doesn't matter. No question is unworthy of attention!
This Month's Item Collection
One of the Fall projects of the Mother Maria of Paris Outreach Ministries is to provide convenient “bags of help”, filled with hygiene items and some snacks, for our parishioners to take and to give to the many people we see on street corners or sidewalks asking for help. In order to fill these bags, we are asking for you help in collecting hygiene items, such as regular bars of soap, travel size shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, mouth wash, etc., toothbrushes, dental floss, and other such items, as well as snacks such as granola bars, protein bars, etc. There will be a basket in the Church Hall for your generous donations. Thank you once again from “the least of our brothers and sisters.”
There are now a number of "bags of help" prepared and ready for you to take into your cars. Please feel free to take a couple of them, so that, whenever you see someone in need on a street corner, you can hand them this bag. Please remember to pray for the people that you help with these "bags of help"!
