Liturgy this Week
In order to accommodate people who prefer to avoid any crowds at church, we will be celebrating an extra Liturgy during the week. This week we are celebrating the Holy Prophet Elias (Elijah) and the Holy Martyrs Maria of Paris and her Companions on Monday, July 20 at 10:00 am.
On-Line Book Club
We will continue our second book this Thursday at 7:30 pm. We are reading Royal Monastic: Princess Ileana of Romania. If you are interested in joining the reading and discussion of this book, please let Father know so you can receive the invitation.
A Day of Mourning
The Holy Eparchical Synod of America has requested that all our faithful keep Friday, July 24 as a day of mourning, coinciding with the first day of public Islamic prayer at Agia Sophia in Constantinople. Please see the attached letter from the Synod. To mark this day of mourning and to beg for divine assitance, we wil pray the Akathist Hymn Friday evening at 6:30 pm. Please join us in prayer either in person or on line.
Mark Your Calendar!
We will be having a special General Assembly on Sunday, July 26 immediately after Liturgy in the Church (where we can continue to keep social distance). The topics will be the financial state of our Parish and the authorization of transferring funds if needed. You will be getting more detailed information soon.
Father's Vacation
Father will be away from the parish on vacation from Monday, July 27 to Wednesday, August 12. If there is an emergency during this time, please contact Barbara Kalioras at 603-344-0272 or Tasso Toumpas at 603-848-3676. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE METROPOLIS YOURSELF! Barbara or Tasso will take care of finding a priest for you.
Father will be celebrating Liturgy and hopefully a Paraklesis service where he is; please watch for the notification of the services on line.
Greek Dinner to Go
Thank you to everyone who has helped make our second Greek Dinner a success! Next month's dinner will be given by the Mother Maria of Paris Outreach Ministries to raise some funds to help out members of our Parish Family.
Light a Virtual Candle
Have you wanted to light a candle in church, but weren't able to be there for some reason? Maybe you were not feeling well enough to go, or it was a weekday and the church was closed. Now you can light a virtual candle on our website. What a great way to participate in prayer in the church when you are watching the Liturgy on line! Go any time of the day or night to http://www.holytrinitynh.org/media/light-a-candle.
On-Line Giving
Because of the strange circumstances we find ourselves living through, our Parish, although blessed by God in many ways, suffers from a particular shortage of income during the summer months. Your consistent offering of your Stewardship each month will be an enormous help to get us through this summer slump. The easiest and most consistent way to do this is by having your Stewardship given automatically each month. Please go to our website (www.holytrinitynh.org); in the upper right hand corner (of each page!) you will find the link to make your monthly contribution. You can also use this link for other contributions to the parish, such as candles and trays, especially if you prefer not to handle cash. Thank you for your generosity and making sure we are able to serve you throughout the whole year to the glory of God!
