Congratulations!
Our choice for this year's Laity Award is Chris Condodemetraky. Axios! The Laity Awards Dinner will be held on Sunday, June 12 at Gillette Stadium. Besides the usual dinner and program, there will also be a tour of the stadium. We will also be celebrating His Eminence's 40th anniversary as a bishop. Tickets are $100. If you are interested in joining in honoring Chris and the other Laity Award recipients of our Metropolis, please see a Council Member.
Fellowship Hour
Fellowship Hour is offered by Denise and Gary Ambelos in memory of Denise's mother Photini.
We are making a transition to the use of real plates, mugs and silverware and fasing out the use of styrofoam and plastic. We will also have today Fair Trade Coffee, that is, coffee from producers that pay a living wage to its workers on the coffee plantations. It is more expensive than regular coffee (which says something about how little their workers are paid!). If anyone would like to help fund this coffee, please see Father or Presbytera. All these things are the small things we can do as stormtroopers of the Kingdom of God, to be good stewards of our environment and help in a small way to bring justice to the poor.
Help the IOCC help the Situation in Ukraine
There are canisters on each table in our Church Hall to receive your generous donations which will be sent to the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) to help in their relief efforts in Ukraine. Remember--the food that you do not eat during Lent belongs to those who have nothing to eat. Your donation can help those who have been displaced and who have lost everything in the conflict.
Greek Dance Performance
Today, May 15 at 4:00 pm you are invited to enjoy the amazing talent of the Lykeion Ellinidon of Boston, a professional Greek dance troupe. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $10 for children under 18. Please see Presbytera or a Council Member to reserve a ticket, or call 603-953-3051, or go the website, holytrinitynh.org, click on the contribution link, and go to the dropdown menu. May Greek Dinner to Go
If you have not ordered this month's Greek Meal to Go, there just may be some extras! Please see a Council Member to find out about availability.
Please Remember the Poor
We are in need of the many items that make up our Blessing Bags. Please make a stop at the Dollar Tree and pick up some of the following: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, shower gel, small hand sanitizers, granola bars.
Our small food pantry is also in need of support. Lent is the perfect time to remember those who have nothing to eat, and to dedicate the money that we save from our own sparse meals to feeding the poor. There are containers in the Church Hall to receive your non-perishable items.
Do you know anyone or any families that are in need of food. please help yourself to the food in the Church Hall. It is there to help all who are in need.
On-Line Giving
Your consistent offering of your Stewardship each month will be an enormous help to get us through this summer slump. The easiest and most consistent way to do this is by having your Stewardship given automatically each month. Please go to our website (www.holytrinitynh.org); in the upper right hand corner (of each page!) you will find the link to make your monthly contribution. You can also use this link for other contributions to the parish, such as candles and trays, especially if you prefer not to handle cash. Thank you for your generosity and making sure we are able to serve you throughout the whole year to the glory of God!
