1) GOYA Christmas Card: It’s that time of year again when GOYA can assist you with your holiday greetings. Wish others in our community a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year by e-mailing Ted at tcherpas@stsconstantine.com or by picking up an order form on the youth bulletin board. The deadline for orders is Sunday, November 29th.
2) GOYA will have an outdoor, socially distant drive-in movie night on Saturday, Nov. 7th hosted by St. Paul, No. Royalton. Each GOYAn is expected to bring their own mask, chair, and blanket as well as a canned food item as a donation. RSVP by Sunday, November 1st to goya@stpaulgoc.org, and see Ted with any questions.
3) The GOYA Fall Retreat will take place virtually on Friday, November 13th - Saturday, November 14th. The theme will be: " The longest journey is from your head to your heart." The keynote speaker will be Fr. Nicholas Manuel. Register online at y2am.pittsburgh.goarch.org.
4) Camp Nazareth will host an online young adult retreat (ages 21 - 35ish) on Saturday, November 14th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The theme will be: "In Your Presence, There Is Fullness of Joy." Featured speakers will include: Metropolitan Gregory of Nyssa, Fr. Stephen Loposky, Fr. Anastasios Athanasiou, and others. It's free to participate; just register at tinyurl.com/2020yafallretreat.
5) Orthodoxy on Tap will have its next young adult event (ages 21 - 35ish) on Thursday, December 3rd @ 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The guest speaker will be all of us. Led by a moderator, this will be a social call where we'll all have a chance to talk, listen, and connect as Orthodox young adults going through a difficult year together.
