Our righteous Mother Euphrosyne, who lived during the reign of Saint Theodosius the Younger (408-450), was the daughter of Paphnutius of Egypt. Forsaking her father and his wealth, she renamed herself Smaragdus, and pretending to be a eunuch of the imperial palace, she dressed herself as a man and entered a monastery of men where her identity remained unknown until her repose thirty-eight years later.

Join us if you dare for GOYA Scary Movie Night in the Plateia on October 23rd at 6:00pm (Movie starts at 6:30pm) Bring your lawn chairs, bean bags and blankets and join us for pizza, popcorn, creepy treats and some jump scares under the spooky night sky.

Assumption Greek School
Our Internet ministry is looking for volunteers to help run video broadcasting and sound mixing systems during church services and sacraments. This is a great opportunity for young adults interested in video production or sound engineering fields, or just looking for volunteer hours. It is also wonderful way to connect with God, Christ and community! No prior experience is necessary. We will provide all required training.
The Internet ministry serves those who are unable to physically make it to church on Sunday. Our stream team can help everyone connect to services via any mobile device or TV. We also offer candles/prayer requests, and tray donations all from your home or while traveling.
