ADULT CLASS SEMINAR: Beginning on Monday, October 24th, an adult seminar will be offered every Monday evening from 7pm to 9pm for 8 weeks. Due to the still existing Covid problems, the class will be offered on Zoom. This Fall, the class will discuss the major contributions of classical Greece to Western Civilization. For this purpose, class members will make the following presentations to be followed by discussion with a particular emphasis on the perennial relevance of the Greek legacy:
1. The Greek God-Man Relation and its Influence on Christianity
2. The Birth of Freedom
3. The Roots of Emancipation
4. The Birth of Political Man
5. The Birth of Rational Man
6. The Best and Worst Thing
7. The Critical Spirit
8. War, the Father of All

"OXI" DAY DOXOLOGY AND GREEK SCHOOL PROGRAM: On Sunday, October 30th, we will sing a Doxology of thanks to God for our freedom and in memory of the WWII "OXI" of the Greek government that changed the history of WWII and the world. After the Doxology, there will be a very brief “OXI Day” program by our Greek School students in honor of this event which will take place in Church at the end of the Divine Liturgy. Enjoy as our Greek School students make us all proud!!!
