GOYA CHRISTMAS CARD: Every year the Assumption GOYA sends out the church Christmas card to all members of our community. Anyone who would like to help spread Christmas cheer and have their names added to this year’s card may do so by completing the attached form. You may mail the form along with a $10 donation to the church office or you may bring it to any coffee hour through and including Sunday, December 4th. ADULT CLASS SEMINAR: An adult seminar began on October 24th and is being offered every Monday evening from 7pm to 9pm for 8 weeks thru and including December 12th. Due to the still existing Covid problems, the class will be offered on Zoom. For more information on the class, please call John Lyssikatos at 401-728-4452. The class will discuss the major contributions of classical Greece to Western Civilization. For this purpose, class members will make the following presentations to be followed by discussion with a particular emphasis on the perennial relevance of the Greek legacy:

3. The Roots of Emancipation
4. The Birth of Political Man
5. The Birth of Rational Man

AHEPA A121 CASA Project: Clothes, Dry Food and Dental Supplies from Assumption (CASA)! -- Support our CASA effort! Donate your used clothing for men, women, and children! Donate dry food such as pasta, rice, beans, etc. Donate dental supplies like toothpaste, toothbrushes and dental floss. Help people in need this winter. Bring in your used clothes or food items to the Community Center every Sunday right after Liturgy. All sizes for men, women and children. All ages. All colors. Place in the AHEPA marked boxes in the Community Center. We will donate to a homeless shelter! Donations accepted until Sunday, December 11th.
Ρούχα, τρόφιμα οδοντιατρικά είδη για τους άστεγους (CASA)! -- Παρακαλούμε βοηθήστε μας να μαζέψουμε μεταχειρισμένα ρούχα για άνδρες, γυναίκες και παιδιά για αυτούς που έχουν ανάγκη αυτό τον χειμώνα. Δωρίστε επίσης ξηρά τρόφιμα (μακαρόνια, ρύζι, φασόλια) . Δεχόμαστε επίσης οδοντιατρικά είδη όπως οδοντόκρεμα, οδοντόβουρτσα και οδοντιατρικό νήμα. Φέρτε τα μεταχειρισμένα ρούχα που δεν χρειάζεστε για να ζεστάνουμε και τρόφιμα και να ενισχύσουμε τους συνανθρώπους μας που τα χρειάζονται, κάθε Κυριακή αμέσως μετά την λειτουργία στο κοινοτικό μας κέντρο . Θα έχουμε ειδικό κουτί στο κέντρο μας με το έμβλημα της AHEPA. Δεχόμαστε δωρεές μέχρι την Κυριακή, 11 Δεκεμβρίου.

who passed away on Friday, November 18th, at the age of 92.
She was the wife of the late Rev. Fr. John Floropoulos
who served as our parish priest at Pawtucket Assumption during the 1970's.
She was the mother of three daughters -- Flora, Joanne, and Argyro.
