Reservation for Services: please be aware that our capacity for Divine Services is limited - at 36 per service - it is recommended that you may make a reservation to be sure there will be space for you and your family to participate. Contact Father Andreas at the Parish Office, or by email if you want to make a reservation. Unfortunately, once we reach our legal capacity, the Parish Council will not allow anyone further in the Church. We will be able to offer overflow capacity in the community center for major feasts like Christmas and Pascha. At the conclusion of all services, the faithful will need to exit parish facilities and property, and return to their homes - for the forseeable future, Coffee Hours and social programs will not be offered. The doors to the church will be opened 15 minutes before the start of the listed Divine Services.
Evan Alvanos Memorial: all parishioners are invited to a 1-year Memorial for Evan, to be held at his burial site at Lakeview Cemetery next Saturday (Apr. 10) at 10:45 am. May his memory be eternal!
COVID cleaning/disinfecting/safety Protocols: please be sure to offer your support to our Parish Council that is keeping our space as safe as possible. We have a deep-cleaning each Saturday morning, and as-needed disinfecting throughout the week. We've relied on a core group of only a few people, but this vital COVID-safety ministry needs your help too - please speak to a PC member or show up at the weekly cleaning listed in the weekly schedule). Also, it is absolutely necessary that we maintain adequate ventilation in our sacred Temple by keeping windows open. Growing scientific evidence is pointing towards aerosol transmission as the primary means of coronavirus spread. For this reason, we keep windows open for ventilation and wear masks to vent and contain the viral aerosols. Yes, winter is here and it might get chilly in Church, so feel free to keep your coat and gloves on! A facemask covering nose and mouth must be worn at all times, except at the moment of receiving the Holy Gifts.
