Parish Update: Kalo mina! Fr Andreas and the Parish Council would like to relay some information relevant to activities this summer:
- Glory-to-God, we will be installing an energy-efficient heat pump system in our Church on July 12-13 - finally cool air for those hot and humid summer Services! Not only will the system provide air conditioning, it will provide heat in the fall and spring, preserving our natural gas fueled furnaces.
- Fr Andreas and family will be on vacation for the last Sunday of July (7/25) and the first Sunday of August (8/1). It appears unlikely that a Priest will be available to serve Divine Liturgy on those days, however the Church will be open for prayer, to offer candles and to drop off stewardship from 9:30 to 11:00 AM each of those days.
- We are aiming to offer a "Mini-Greek Festival" or exanded take-out dinner in early to mid September. By moving to September, we will have more time for planning and potentially allow more guests to participate when our three local colleges are in session.
- We are hopeful that Parish educational and social ministries will re-start in September.
- The Shelburne Street Roundabout project is beginning this summer. This two year project will at times necessitate some changes to traffic patterns and routes to our campus; more information will be sent out when available.
