GREEK SCHOOL: Planning is underway to restart Greek School beginning in the Fall of 2019. If you are interested, please contact the Church Office. As of right now, we have a lot of interest from 4 year olds to 10 year olds.
YOUTH SAFETY UPDATE: Our parish will begin in the process of making sure we are compliant with the Archdiocese Policies for the Safety of Children and Youth. If you plan on working with youth in the Church (advising, coaching, teaching, leading, driving, etc) in the 2019-2020 Ecclesiastical year (Sept-Aug) here in our parish, Metropolis, or anywhere in our Archdiocese, you should contact either Fr. Anastasios or Jackie Bennis, our parish Yout Safety Administrator. There will be more information to come on how and when we begin this process which will include Registering, Training, and Background Check Screening, as well as continuing our compliance to our Metropolis Youth Safety requirements (fingerprinting, etc). See http://www.goarch.org/safety for more info. We are required to have our parish compliant by September 1st.
