GOMoP Virtual Summer Camp: CAMP IS NOT CANCELED. We always say that Camp feels like heaven, but its not a baseball field, a pool, a gaga ball pit, a cabin, a bunk, a pavilion, it's in the Body of Christ, in His Church, gathering as His youth to work on and discover our faith. Each day Virtual Campers will still be gathered by grade & age for some of the best parts of camp: worship fit for Virtual Camp, activities, reimagined Orthodox Life, discussion groups, Evening Activities, & Cabin talk. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to deepen your faith and your friendships from camp. Check out our website including a sample schedule and our social media accounts: GOMOP_Y2AM on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to see more about the fun that's coming.
"GREEN PHASE": Our parish has applied and has been granted the blessing by Metropolitan Savas to enter the Metropolis' Green Phase. For more information, go to the worship section above. Please be on the lookout for potential announcements for festival prep, coffee hour, and other in-person events (all maintaining social distancing and masks).
FESTIVAL PREP: Yes, we are having a festival July 14-18, which will be modified to meet the requirements of both the local authorities and the Metropolis. As more details become available we will let you know where we will need help.
Dolmathes (Grape Leaves): June 29th after Liturgy & June 30th starting at 9am!
NERVOUS TO COME TO CHURCH? It is completely understandable in this COVID-19 world right now for some of our members to not want to be with such a large crowd. If you would prefer to potentially offer a smaller more restricted service, please contact Fr. Anastasios, 724-266-5336 ext 2 or email at asathanasiou@gmail.com.
ONLINE GIVING & STEWARDSHIP: is now OPEN! Online giving can be found by clicking here! Please consider your continued support of our church through becoming one of our online giving families. You can make general contributions and stewardship contributions.
REGULAR GIVING: The church is still accepting donations in normal ways through the mail. Thank you to all of those who have continued to contribute in these challenging times.
ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN MINISTRY AT HOME: On our calendar and in links below, you can now find some of the national online resources that are being bolstered during this time of stay at home. This is courtesy of our National Youth Director, Steve Christoforou, who has brought this together in one place for us "from multiple Metropolises and jurisdictions, along with leaders from amazing ministries like Orthodox Christian Fellowship, Youth Equipped to Serve, the Department of Religious Education, the Center for Family Care, and Ancient Faith Ministries."
