METROPOLIS OF PITTSBURGH CLERGY-LAITY SEPTEMBER 26th: We thank our Metropolis Clergy-Laity delegates, Angelo Pournaras, Nina Pompeani, and Dr. Alex Vasilakis.
GOYA MEETING: We will be having a GOYA meeting via Zoom at 2pm today to discuss both in-person and online events. If you are 7th-12th grade and are currently not receiving the "Remind" messages please contact our Advisors: Alexa Bovalino and Kathleen Marvin.
SUNDAY SCHOOL UPDATE: Our first week of classes will begin on Sunday, October 4th. The difficult decisions to make all classes virtual for the time being was a consensus of the Sunday School teachers. Teachers will employ Seesaw and/or Zoom to conduct their class work, which should be done outside of the Liturgy. We realize this decision isn't ideal for every family, but its the best we can do at the current time. Until October 4th continue to check out our HOPE & JOY and GOYA videos here: http://www.htgoc.org/ministries/sundayschool
THE VOICE: Thank you for bearing with us through this time in which we were unable to publish a Voice, we pray that God-willingly we will have the return of the printed and mailed Voice Newsletter for early October.
ORTHODOXY ON TAP TAILGATE: Mark you calendar for October 4th, as we invite all of our young adults (18-35), to hang out after Church and enjoy a covid-responsible tailgate as the Steelers play in Tennessee at 1pm. More details to come this week.
CHECK-IN VOLUNTEERS: In the current policies of the metropolis we are required to have a check-in person or team for every service. We are looking for additional volunteers who are willing to come a little early to check people in and, if able, to help sanitize after the services. Please contact Fr. Anastasios if you are interested in helping a necessary function during these times.
ONLINE GIVING & STEWARDSHIP:is now OPEN! Online giving can be found by clicking here! Please consider your continued support of our church through becoming one of our online giving families. You can make general contributions and stewardship contributions.
