ST. PHOTIOS REGISTRATION EXTENDED UNTIL APRIL 15th: On April 30, the Metropolis of Pittsburgh is celebrating the 2022 St. Photios Awards Banquet at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Mars, PA. Hors d’oevres begin at 4 PM and dinner is slated for 5 PM. The banquet recognizes the dedicated work of two volunteers from every parish in the Metropolis with net proceeds from the event benefitting His Eminence Metropolitan Savas’ Benevolence Fund. GREAT LENT, HOLY WEEK, AND PASCHA DONATIONS - The flowers for the full Akathist Hymn on the Fifth Friday of Lent was donated by Sophia Chickos, in memory of Rena and George Kyrargyros. EASTER CANDY ORDERS DUE TODAY: Philoptochos will be selling Easter Chocolate from Anderson's Candies. Please turn in your order forms and money to Paula Yakoumas TODAY. Orders will be ready for pick up on April 17th.
KOULOURAKIA AND EASTER TSOUREKI ORDERS DUE TODAY: Our Hellenic Dancers will be holding their 7th annual Tsoureki and Koulouria sale for Easter. Order forms are available in the Narthex and in the Pappan Fellowship Hall. The deadline for orders is TODAY. Please see Harriet Sickles for any questions.
PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: The next Parish Council meeting is on Tuesday, April 12th at 7:00pm.
PALM CROSS FOLDING: GOYAns with the help of HOPE/JOY will be making palm crosses on Friday, April 15th at 6:00pm to be used on Palm Sunday. Anyone interested in helping is invited to come.
PALM SUNDAY FISH LUNCHEON: The Parish Council is hosting a Fish Luncheon following the Divine Liturgy, Palm Sunday, April 17th, in the Pappan Fellowship Hall. The cost is $15 per person for the Fish Lunch and $10 for Spaghetti. If you would like to donate any items for the luncheon, please contact Zach Economos Jr. GOYAns, we ask you to please stay and help to serve at this event.
GOOD FRIDAY LUMINARY CANDLES: If you would like to buy Luminaria in memory of a loved one please fill out form located in the Narthex or in the The Voice. Donation of $5 per bag with a maximum of (2) names per bag. Forms are due on Holy Thursday, April 21st. Please see Kathleen Marvin or Alexa Bovalino for any questions.
HOLY FRIDAY YOUTH RETREAT: A youth retreat will be held on Good Friday after the Royal Hours for JOY / HOPE and GOYA. There will be activities and learning for the children in preparation for Holy Week. Lunch will be provided. To register JOY/HOPE please use the BAND app, GOYA please contact your advisor.
MOTHER'S DAY CARD: Philoptochos will be compiling and distributing a Mother’s Day Card on May 8th. If you would like to Honor or Remember the special women in your life, please complete the form and return by May 1st to Paula Yakoumas.
2022 Stewardship Cards Due: Become a steward of Holy Trinity and help us fund the life-saving work that we are blessed to do here. Pledge Cards are available in your newsletter, on the pangari, and in this bulletin. You may even submit this electronically via email or even text to Fr. Anastasios. While having a reoccurring deposit is a great way to stay on top of your contributions, a stewardship card still needs to be filled out.
BOOKSTORE: Our church bookstore has many of the Lenten service books for sale. Come check it out!
Complete your 2021 Pledges: While they can no longer count for 2021 taxes, you may still complete your 2021 Pledge and get it counted towards 2022 taxes.
PRAYER CHAIN - Members of Holy Trinity are being brought together in efforts to pray for those in need of prayers. Please contact Joanie Ondrako, Fr. Anastasios, or the Office to join the prayer team, a group of people who will pray for the names given each day.
Prayer requests can be submitted anonymously and will be on the prayer list as long as your request is wanted, even up to a year. To request a prayer, click here.
