OXI DAY PRESENTATION
The Greek School will present a short program this Sunday, Oct. 28th during the coffee hour to commemorate OXI Day. Ζήτω η Ελλάδα μας!
AHEPA AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OCT 26TH-28TH
AHEPA would like to invite the community to come and visit our booth at the International Festival held downtown Raleigh at the Convention Center on the following days, October 26, 27, & 28. This will be our biggest fundraiser for the coming year. We have several events planned for the Church in 2019 that we hope to fund. 25% of our profits will go to support hurricane relief in NC. As an added bonus, one of our youth Greek dancing groups will be performing at 6:30 on Saturday!

FALL STUDY COURSE 2018
Please join us for the 2018 Fall Study Course Tuesday Nights at 6:30 pm until Dec. 4th! We will be examining the book of Tobit! Come and see why you need the Book of Tobit in your life! Taught by Fr. Paul and Rob Shand. No RSVP required!

PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
BAKE SALE UPDATE
Ladies Philoptochos Society is in full swing preparing for its annual bake sale. Pre Order your assortments, baklava, spanakopita and pastitsio today. Deadline to order is November 11. Join us in preparation and fellowship! Tuesday 10/30 at 9 AM. Prepare Pasta Flora. Wednesday 10/31 at 9 AM. Prepare Koulouris. Costumes welcome.
As you know, the needs are many. Our focus is on assisting local charities. We need your help so that we can offer our support to these organizations. Together, we can offer a loving hand to our neighbors.
Founder’s Day is on November 4th. Please bring a dish to share. We will be passing a tray with the proceeds benefitting the Ecumenical Patriarch’s philanthropic programs and charities.
Our next meeting is on November 11st, after the St. John’s Coffee hour at 12:30. We will be voting on our budget for 2019. This will be a VERY short meeting!
On Tuesday, November 13th, we will have a luncheon to celebrate those who are not always able to come to church. Please come at 11 am. Lunch will be provided by Toula Capetanos and Gen Catenis. We will also be baking that day, so we will need many hands!
