NEW DIVINE LITURGY BOOKS
The Archdiocese has published a new addition of the Divine Liturgy books for the pews. This version includes the Artoclasia. The bulk cost of the new books would be approx. $2700. If anyone is interested in making a donation towards the purchase of the new books, please contact Father Paul.
2019 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN
Now that 2019 is underway, it’s important that we keep building upon the momentum we’ve created over the holidays, so that we can continue to fund the active and abundant ministries offered for every age of our membership. It is only through the generosity of stewards like you, that such a nurturing and vibrant community can exist. If you are currently enrolled in online giving and have ongoing drafts for your stewardship, please resubmit your information online for the 2019 year. SOUPER BOWL OF CARING!
Our annual "Souper Bowl of Caring" will take place on Sunday, February 3rd. We will be collecting canned goods to be given to the needy in our community. Monetary donations will also be accepted. All donations can be placed on the table outside of the fellowship hall. Please contact Zoe Pusic if you have any questions. Thank you for your support!
GOYA SUPER BOWL PARTY
The GOYA officers have worked hard and have put together a GOYA Super Bowl party! The party will take place at the church Sunday, February 3rd at 5pm. Admission into the party will be five canned foods that will be going to charity. Dinner will be served, with games and of course the Super Bowl (kickoff at 6:30). Feel free to come in football gear and show team spirit! Grades 7th-12th. Parents welcome.
PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
We will be hosting our Annual Sweets for your Sweet on February 10th. ALL proceeds will go to support Hellenic College/Holy Cross. If you are an avid crafter or creative baker, we would love to have you donate your talents to this worthy cause.
The Sunday School created Valentines for us last year and we hope everyone in the community will be a part of this.
If you missed out last year on Julie’s cakes or Sydney’s brownies, do not despair! For $12, Julie Theocles will be offering her 6” heart-shaped cakes OR six cupcakes: red velvet with cream cheese frosting, vanilla with butter cream frosting, and/or chocolate with chocolate frosting. Sydney Langford will be baking her world famous brownies: four brownies for $5. Put your order in now! Presales will end February 3rd. Our membership drive has begun. Join us today as we work to make a difference in our community. We have a busy year planned and we need you to be a part of our growing ministry. Our next meeting will be on February 17th.

As we begin a new year, please consider signing up to sponsor a coffee hour in 2019. A family, a ministry, or a group of parishioners could sponsor a coffee hour by providing some light snacks to share. The signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the foyer. All proceeds benefit The Green Chair Project Scholarships who provide furniture and furnishings for families transitioning from homelessness into apartments who have nothing. Chef's Fotis and Terri Fotiu are serving assorted hor d'oeuvres, desserts and fruit throughout the evening. Wine, Beer and Champaign will be sold by the glass or bottle.
