September 17th—December 10th
Please join us as we examine the Book of the Acts of the Apostles. Taught by Fr. Paul Christy and Rob Shand. This book, written as a sequel to the Gospel of Luke, is the very earliest history of the Church. Ever wonder how the Church went from Pascha to today? This is where it all began! Free to all the public, walk-ins welcome. Please bring your bible!
GOYA KICKOFF: Elections and sparkcon
September 14th 5:00pm at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
GOYA is in full swing! We will meet at Church for prayer and dinner. Following dinner we will hold elections for GOYA Officers while the parents meet with our Youth Worker Volunteers and discuss the schedule for the year. After prayer, food, and planning, we will be going to Sparkcon downtown for fun and fellowship. Dinner will be provided. Transportation to Sparkcon will need to be coordinated among the parents and children. Sparkcon is free admission and is located downtown between the City Capital and City Plaza. There will be live music, street painting, food, and a circus!
ANGELS HOPE AND JOY FIRST MEETING
Join us this year for a journey through our Orthodox Faith. We are going to be learning about the unique parts of our Faith through discussion time with Fr. Paul and Rob, meaningful (and age appropriate) focused activities, and ideas to focus on for the month. Our goal is to engage our kiddos from an early age to recognize the beauty and uniqueness of their Faith. September's theme is The Cross. Join us Saturday September 14th. Activity starts at 11 am, liturgy of the Holy Cross begins at 10 am. Please RSVP to vfperryman@gmail.com.
