Witness the changes in the Church and in yourself at the onset of this most sacred time of year as we begin the Lenten Fast.
PROKEIMENON OF FORGIVENESS
Turn not Your face from Your child,
for I am afflicted; hear me speedily.
Give heed to my soul and redeem it.
St. Silouan the Athonite, Writings, VII.9
We have such a law: If you forgive, it means that God has forgiven you;
but if you do not forgive your brother, it means that your sin remains with you.
ENTERING INTO THE HOUSE OF GOD DURING THE READING OF SCRIPTURE
We ask that all the faithful please exercise discretion when entering the Sanctuary during the Epistle and Gospel readings. When you enter the Church during these times, please sit in the first available seat or wait patiently until the gospel is completed.
