Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
Sunday of all Saints
JUNE 14, 2020
COVID19 Update
Out of love for the sick, the suffering, and those who are attending to them, the Church is reopening on a limited basis. See instructions below if you are attending the Liturgy.
Please view the Liturgy online here.
This Sunday, June 14 our community is beginning the slow process of reopening for Sunday worship. This of course will be a phased reopening that we hope one day will lead to a full capacity of parishioners. In the meantime, we have established a signup genius process that will begin alphabetic order for all members.
For the initial Sunday (this Sunday) we will invite twenty-five parishioners.
The process will consist of an email being sent on Monday to select parishioners requesting a reply by Wednesday. Those parishioners who do not have an email will receive a phone call. The goal is to have the list of twenty-five parishioners by Wednesday so a call can be made on Friday or Saturday to the attending parishioners to answer four COVID-19 screening questions to be answered before attending services.
We will sorely miss those of you not in attendance!
The link below will bring you to a video communication of the step by step process on how the re-opening of our Holy Trinity Church in Raleigh will operate. This video will not be listed publicly on YouTube; its intent is for the private viewing of our parishioners.
Please watch this video to hear from Father Paul and
Parish Council President Jim Klemes

Here is a quick glance of some of protocols that you will see in the video:
- Masks must be worn at all times except when receiving Holy Communion. Those with children 2 and under do not need to wear masks. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
- Hands must be sanitized upon entry.
- You will be directed to your seating area by an usher and are asked to remain in that area for the duration of the service.
- Honor the icons and other sacred objects by a reverent bow and making the sign of the Cross instead of kissing.
- Refrain from shaking hands or kissing others during the service.
- Antidoron will not be distributed after Holy Communion but will be available at the end of the liturgy.
- At the conclusion of the service please exit and return to your vehicle without congregating.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

2020 Stewardship Campaign Update
The wonderful time has arrived for our Holy Trinity family to finallybe able to reassemble in our spiritual home. God is good!
We want to thank each and every one of you for your amazing generosity over the last few months, especially given the incredible challenges most families faced each and every day during the quarantine. Thank you for being such loyal and selfless stewards during this unprecedented journey we’ve all been on together.
As Holy Trinity slowly re-opens its door and attendance numbers must remain small in size, we ask you to continue using our online giving site (https://abundant.co/holytrinityraleigh/give), or you can also mail your stewardship donation and/or pledges to 5000 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, NC 27612. We understand this online method of giving is new for many members, so we have created a short video showing you step-by-step how to use the online giving portal. The video instructions are located right under the “GIVE Online” button on the main page of Holy Trinity’s website. Click on the Online Giving Instructions button, to be directed to a link and password (GeVCfkN5 – case sensitive), to watch the video.
Please also remember that you can conveniently continue to embrace and incorporate our Orthodox holy traditions, by lighting a candle via the church’s main website (http://www.holytrinityraleigh.org/online-giving/light-a-candle) during those Sundays in which you are unable to be in the church.
If you have any questions about donating or stewardship, please contact Angela Georgallis, Stewardship Co-Chair, directly at 919-339-3169 or acgeorgallis@gmail.com.
Again, we thank you for your generous and constant support!
