HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH
RALEIGH, NC
9TH SUNDAY OF LUKE
NOVEMBER 22, 2020
We welcome each of you who join us in worship this week, whether in person or virtually.
We also extend a special welcome to all newcomers.
ATTEND LITURGY VIRTUALLY OR IN PERSON
Registration is now required!
Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 and the decision to practice extreme precaution for everyone, we are ONCE AGAIN limiting the number of attendees at any given service to 30 parishioners. Instructions for registering to attend in person are provided below. For all who do not attend in-person, please join in with us through our live-streamed service at: www.holytrinityraleigh.org.
If you attended the Sunday service last week, please allow other parishioners the opportunity to attend and do not register for two or three consecutive services. However, if there are still openings 30 minutes before registration closes at 9:00 p.m. the evening before the service, then we encourage you to register.
Please arrive early to Sunday service, before 9:45, giving time for check in. When attending the service, please wear a mask at all times, sign in upon entering, allow your temperature to be taken, and maintain proper distance with those attending.
Check in will include answering the COVID-19 questions below.
If you answer “yes” to any of the following COVID-19 questions, we ask that you not sign up for a church service at this time.
1. Do you have any of the following symptoms that are new or worsening: cough, congestion, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, fever or feeling feverish, chills, muscle pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea?
2. Have you had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 21 days?
3. Have you tested positive in the last 21 days for COVID-19?

2020 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Thank you for the tremendous outpouring of recent pledges that have been sent in – we are grateful for our community’s unwavering support! As we head into the final weeks of this year’s campaign, we are asking that everyone continues to keep our spiritual Mother, Holy Trinity, at the center of your lives.
Stewardship is understandably tracking behind budget this year given so many uncertainties around the pandemic. At this critical time, it’s especially important that everyone does their part to help our community catch up on the support required to keep our church’s ministries and operations in place. Statements will be sent out during the next few weeks for those of you who still have a remaining balance on your pledge for the 2020 campaign.
You can pay your pledge online giving via Abundant Giving at: https://abundant.co/holytrinityraleigh/give. You can also mail your stewardship donation(s) to: 5000 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, NC 27612. If you still need to submit your stewardship commitment form, it can be downloaded from the church website at: http://www.holytrinityraleigh.org/assets/files/Stewardship/2020%20Stewardship%20Commitment%20Card%20.pdf.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding Stewardship, please immediately contact Angela Georgallis, Stewardship Co-Chair, at 919-339-3169 or acgeorgallis@gmail.com.
Thank you!

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
Sunday School families!
This 2020 Christmas Pageant will take place much differently than it has in the past on December 20th following the Divine Liturgy. We are looking for the following:
1. Students to fill the following parts:
Gabriel - speaking part
Mary - speaking part
Narrator - speaking part
Shepherds - non speaking
**These students must be available on Dec 5 and 6 for filming outdoors at the church (using strict socially distanced protocols)
2. At this point, we plan to have the following parts filmed in the church
Innkeeper – non-speaking
Three Kings – non-speaking
3. We are asking our Sunday School families to please submit a photo of your child holding a baby doll (or stuffed animal) ideally in a swaddling cloth. This could be a great opportunity to get your little ones involved!
4. We are also looking for angels to come to the church on Thursday, December 3 between 4-6 pm (a Sign Up Genius to follow to ensure social distancing). These little angels are always a highlight of the production.
Please reply to Leslie Hatch at lesliehatch@msn.com by November 22 with the part your child would like to do so we can plan safely and accordingly
2020 ANGEL TREE
The magic of the Angel Tree is almost near.
Soon it will be filled with laughter and cheer.
Watch for an announcement coming your way with a sign-up link
on how to make a Veteran’s family holiday!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND THANK YOU!
