Start date: Saturday 31st of October
Schedule: every Saturday (with some exceptions for holidays) starting at 1100am (more information to come)
Limit: 10-12 students (separated in 2 classes), priority will be given to the kids that already were participating.
1) Due to COVID-19 pandemic we will be extra vigilant and will take all the precautions possible. This is a reason for the limited number of students per class and please take it seriously and if you join follow the schedule and the rules and come to class every Saturday on time. (It will be unfair to keep a spot that somebody else wanted too, and then to not come).
2) It will be a specific time for Covid-19 screening before each class and after the door will be locked.
3) In case a student or any of his/hers family members have any of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fever >100F, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, body aches and fatigue, abdominal pain, loss of taste or smell, please let us know and don't come to the class.
4) If during the COVID-19 screening, a student's temperature will be >100F or any of the symptoms will be observed or reported, the student will not enter the building and will be encouraged to visit a healthcare provider. The student has to be "cleared" by a healthcare provider to rejoin the class and this will not be sooner than 3 days after the recovery date.
5) Only one adult to escort the student (or siblings) in the building. The escort will be screened too.
6) Every student and adult should enter the building wearing a mask, covering both mouth and nose. If no mask is present they will not be allowed in the building.
7) Everyone in the building during the class hours, is expected to wear a mask all the time. (Exception: for selected activities during a class, but 6ft distance will be required)
8) Before every class and after entering the building, every student or adult is required to wash hands for 20 seconds, and/or to use hand sanitizer to clean hands thoroughly.
9) Every student will have a designated seat in the classroom.
10) Every student will have individual supplies to use, labeled with their name and kept in a covered container with their name.
11) After every class and before the next group of students enter a classroom: desks, chairs, door handles and other "high risk" surfaces will be sanitized.
12) No class for adults at the moment.
13) Labels to remind precautions will be posted around the building.
14) Any snacks will be bought to be packed individually.
15) A "registration fee" will be applied, so we will be able to buy what is needed. It will be $100 per student for the school year, but since we are in the middle of a crisis and we are not sure for any future restrictions from the state, we will go with half the amount for now.
16) More information will be send out with more details, after we separate the students in groups.
