Stewardship is the cornerstone of giving to the Church. It represents each family’s individual financial commitment to the continuation of the Church, and the collective commitments serve the practical function of allowing our church to meet its expenses.
The Church’s goal is to completely offset its annual operating expenses through stewardship contributions. Meeting that goal would provide the Church with the stability and sustainability to use funds from fundraisers and other donations to expand ministries and to build existing programs, rather than having to use those proceeds to cover the Church’s operating budget.

MARILENA'S MEALS: I was hungry and you fed me." Matthew 25:35
Sunday November 19, 2023 --- Volunteers and sponsors needed.
Every month, a team of faithful volunteers assemble and deliver 80 bagged meals to New York City’s
most vulnerable: those without food and shelter. We operate rain or shine.
We invite volunteers that would like to help us prepare and distribute meals to attend on the dates
below. Our team begins assembling the bagged meals at 10:30 am in the church hall on the lower
level. We distribute the meals near Penn Station immediately following the Divine Liturgy.
We are actively looking for sponsors and volunteers to support this ministry. Here are
a few ways to do so:
● Donate the full amount to cover one month of our meals program: $350
● Partial sponsor (share however much you can offer) or split with a friend
● Volunteer to sponsor specific items (gloves, paper goods, and more — please contact Katerina to make arrangements prior to purchasing these items).
● Join us for assembly or distribution (or both!) on the dates listed below.
