Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Orthodox Christians gather every year to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with great joy. The world is different because of the birth of Jesus Christ, because Jesus Christ the Son of God took on human flesh and dwelt on earth.
Time is calculated according to the birth of Jesus Christ. Time is measured before and after Jesus's birth. The Psalms tell us to measure our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Ps.90:12). Wisdom comes from and is rooted in Jesus Christ.
Darkness fades in the brightness of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of St. John tells us Jesus Christ is the true Light illumining all (Jn. 1:9). Each Christmas, believers are renewed in Jesus Christ. Each year the world is better because of the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ lifted humanity to new heights when taking on human flesh. Jesus Christ raised the hopes of humanity and restored humanity by taking on human flesh.
My beloved friends, let us this year look to the essence of the Feast of the Nativity of Jesus Christ. Let us look to the birth of Jesus Christ, the divine taking on human flesh.
All the world is invited to share in the joy associated with the birth of Jesus Christ. He is the Wonderful Counsellor, the Mighty God, The Prince of Peace and the government shall be upon His shoulder. (Is. 9:6).
The Lord Jesus Christ said: “Where yourtreasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Mt. 6:21). During the Feast of the Nativity let us pray for peace in the world, and let us pray that our hearts and minds will forever be firmly planted with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Sending You our fatherly blessing, I heartily greet You:
PEACE FROM GOD - CHRIST IS BORN! INDEED HE IS BORN! HAPPY AND BLESSED 2016 YEAR!
Your intercessor before the Christ-child,
+Father Sasa Turkic
