May and June are Graduation months whereby we celebrate the completion of one stage of our lives and begin with hope another stage. This year graduations are virtual by reason of the "Stay at Home" orders in response to the Coronavirus.
Every year we honor our Graduates and this year is no exception. If you would please be so kind as to forward the Graduates name, institution and future plans to the Church Office by Wednesday, May 20, It will be greatly appreciated

As we observe the State of California easing the restrictions currently in place, the question is asked "When will the Church be open?" At this point California is slowly allowing some businesses to open under the ongoing Stage Two and will allow Churches to open under Stage Three. Religious communities are asking the Governor to reconsider the process for Churches to open. The Metropolis will be giving guidance to our Parishes on the requirements and protocols that will need to be in place before we can open. There is much preparation to be done for your safety and health as the Churches open. In the coming weeks we will be outlining how we will be attending Church.
I miss you as much as you miss being in Church. Once we are allowed to gather together we will do so in a limited way and in limited numbers until a vaccine is developed and the danger is past. I continue to pray to our Risen Lord that all of you may be kept safe and healthy.

Father John requests that if you have 5x7 or 8x10 photographs that you either send them to the Church or place them in the Office Mail slot. As we have the icons of the Saints on the walls of our Church, Fr John would like to place those photographs on the pews as a visible "icons" of our parishioners.
