Intro into Orthodoxy

Are you interested in becoming Orthodox? Or are you already Orthodox and would like to know more about your faith and history? Father Thomas will be teaching a class titled “Intro to Orthodoxy” on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30. The first class will be held on Sept 14 following the Paraklesis service. All are welcome to attend!

Please remember that everyone has the opportunity to say the Lord’s Prayer in their first language. The order of languages is: Greek, English, Spanish, Russian, Romanian, and Arabic.
Holy Communion in the Orthodox Church

We welcome our non-Orthodox friends and neighbors at all the liturgical services with a reminder that Holy Communion may be received only by prepared Orthodox Christians. If you are not Orthodox or if you have not prepared yourself to receive Holy Communion, please come forward anyway and ask the priest for a blessing.
Respectful Worship Environment

Please do not enter or exit the church while:
- the Epistle/Gospel is being read
- the Small/Great Entrance is taking place.
- the gifts are being consecrated during the kneeling portion of the
service
Please stand when the priest is censing and proclaiming the Gospel.
Please adhere to the Parish Council's direction when necessary.
Trisagion Service

Second Tray

Today's second tray is for the benefit of Helen College/Holy Cross School of Theology Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded to worthy and dedicated students both men and women, at Hellenic College and seminarians at Holy Cross to assist with tuition expenses please be generous.
Next week, September 18th and September 25th, a second tray will be passed to raise funds for the Metropolis of Denver's new Auxiliary Bishop, Bishop-elect Constantine Moralis.
