The Oratorical Festival will be held THIS SUNDAY, February 25th - Please come to support our students and join us for lunch in the fellowship room downstairs immediately after liturgy.  Our youth  have worked hard on their orations and are impressive to hear!  Winners will go on to compete at the Metropolis festival on Saturday, April 20th.

A big Thank You to everyone who came out to help make the first night of the Fish Fry a resounding success! Our Community Fish Fry began Friday, February 16th and will be going thru Friday, March 22nd. Hours are 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. General help is still needed for servers, order takers, runners and kitchen. Why not make it your new year's resolution to help continue our Sunday Morning Greeting Tradition? All it requires is a warm smile, a handshake, and the fun of meeting and welcoming new friends in the community. The Sunday of Orthodoxy, the first Sunday of the Great Fast. A celebration of this triumph of our Faith will take place on the evening of 24 March 2024, at 4:00pm. This service of Great Vespers will be hosted by Saint Theodosius Orthodox Cathedral (OCA), located at 733 Starkweather Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. His Eminence, the Most Reverend Nicolae, Metropolitan of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese of the Americas, will preside as well as offer the homily.

The Senior Hellenic Dancers will begin Sunday practices on March 3rd. Practice sessions will begin after OE classes and will last one hour. Young people who turn thirteen in 2024 are welcome to join the group. See Pres. Christina Callos or Ted with any questions.

1) GOYA is invited to a 1-day Metropolis volleyball tournament on Saturday, March 2nd. The tournament will be hosted by St. Nicholas, Pittsburgh. This is not an overnight event. Let Ted know if you are interested in participating so we can organize our team and carpools.

2) Registration for the 2024 GOYA Spring Retreat @ Camp Nazareth is now live: pittsburgh.goarch.org. The event will be March 8th - 10th. Fr. Constantin Ursache will speak on "Being Prepared for Our Lenten Journey." Camp Naz can and does sell out, so please reserve your spots quickly. Contact Fr. Stephen for parish scholarship codes, and Ted about the St. Cons carpool. 

3) St. Kyranna Cooking Class will have its next event on Saturday, March 9th @ 6:00 p.m. Perry Zohos & George Kappos III will be our co-hosts. Our theme will be "Octopus/Seafood." 4) A regional HOPE/JOY (K - 6th grade) retreat will be hosted here at Sts. Our parish strives "To lead people to God through Orthodox Christianity and to provide ways for them live and share God's love."  It does so in good days and in bad. Any financial help that you might offer is, as always, deeply appreciated.

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church will hold home-style Lenten fish fries every Friday from February 16th through March 29th in Cleveland’s historic Tremont neighborhood.  Doors open from 5 PM – 8 PM.   Dinners include Beer Battered Fried Whitefish with french fries, coleslaw, & hush puppies ($15) and Baked Atlantic Cod with rice, mixed vegetables, & dinner roll ($13).  Homemade mac & cheese, homemade clam chowder, pierogies, fish tacos, drinks (beer, wine, pop & water) and desserts will also be available.  Sit down and to go available.  All proceeds will support the ministries of the church and its community.  2187 W. 14th Street Cleveland Ohio 44113

OPA Dance is back! We invite all to join us for dancing and parea. OPA meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.  

In the Fall, we zoomed together to read "Prayer: Encounter with the Living God", and discovered a desire to read and discuss praying for our departed loved ones and grieving our losses. We plan to meet again to read and discuss "Memory Eternal: Living with Grief as Orthodox Christians", by Sarah Byrne-Martelli, DMin; a chaplain, bereavement counselor and St. Vladimir graduate.

The group will meet weekly over Zoom on Thursday evenings at 7:30-8:30 pm starting January 11th. If interested, contact Cynthia Terezis at cterezis@aol.com to be added to the Zoom email invite.
