EVERYONE mark your calendars and plan to come down to MAYFEST with your friends/co-workers for a GYRO LUNCH to help support our Fundraising efforts.
For Tulsa Tough (June 9-11) contact Katie Najera or Anastasia Boone. More information will be coming as the date approaches
New Community Center Update
Work on our New Community Center has continued this week. They continue working on the framing of the walls, and the HVAC venting is being hung, as well as the exterior wall prep. We have ordered the new walk-in coolers and freezers as well, which should be installed in June.
Building For Our Future Fundraising
As our beautiful new Community Center is moving right along, we want to thank EVERYONE for their generous contributions to the BUILDING FOR OUR FUTURE campaign. As of April, we have pledges totaling more than $900k and have deposited approximately $570k. So far we have been able to pay for everything with the funds we have raised, saving us many thousands of dollars in interest, as we are yet to draw on the loan!
Our next payment is due May 15th and we anticipate making our first draw on the loan. If you have not made a donation OR are in a position to pay something toward your pledge before May 15th, you can help reduce our interest expense. Any amount is helpful! Please let Father or Tonya Boone know if you can help or visit our building website to make a donation at
Also, our Brick/Paver campaign continues through the month of May. This is a nice opportunity to reach out to family and friends and ask them to participate in this campaign as a way to honor loved ones, or special events (baptisms, weddings, ordinations); or to honor the memory of our loved ones who have fallen asleep in the Lord. There is a table set up in the SLC with information, and registration forms available.
Tuesday, May 9th - Don't forget to stop by the hall this Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 pm for dinner out - stay and enjoy fellowship or take it home. Menue is Italian: Salad, Garlic Bread, Lasagna or Fettucini Alfredo, and Gelato. Wine available for additional purchase for adults dining in. Adults $10, children $5.
Our Bible Study Classes will meet this Tuesday at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm. We will begin the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew Chapter 5).
