3) Check-in & Sit in between the blue w/ your family
Our Sunday attendance has ranged from 41-130 without the need for overflow seating in the hall. In the situation that we can't maintain the crowd with proper distancing in the main church, the hall will continue to be available for overflow, following the same safety precautions downstairs, to worship via the live stream, and have an opportunity to receive Holy Communion. Please join us in person! We will be continuing to live-stream our regularly scheduled services via our public facebook page at www.facebook.com/HTAmbridge at the times listed below.
Our high touch surfaces--seating pews, pangari, check-in table, bathrooms, and entrance door handles are sanitized between each service.

When the reality of the pandemic became apparent last year, many parishes were thankful to have online giving and video streaming in place to keep people connected and to keep giving somewhat consistent. Many more parishes rushed to put systems in place, learning on the run, encouraging members to tune in and to keep their stewardship current through online giving. Many are still fine-tuning and evaluating systems hurriedly installed.
Archimandrite Athenagoras (Christos) Ziliaskopoulos was born in 1970 in Reutlingen, Germany, and grew up in Greece and Germany. He spent his young adulthood on Mount Athos as a monastic and learned to live a life devoted to Christ and the Church. He was ordained to the Holy Diaconate in 1997 and the Holy Priesthood in 1998 by His Eminence Metropolitan Augoustinos of Germany. In 1999, he was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Patriarchate by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
Today, February 3, 2021, the Holy Eparchial Synod of the Sacred Archdiocese of America convened at the invitation of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America for a regularly scheduled videoconference in order to review pending issues concerning the life of the Church.

On February 8th, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America convened the second virtual meeting of the Senators for Hellenism and Orthodoxy. In his opening remarks, the Archbishop reinforced the responsibility and importance of the Senators: "As ex-officio members of the Archdiocesan Council, your counsel and guidance are invaluable.
“Do you think that I have anything else on my mind except freedom and language?” These were the words of the national poet Dionysios Solomos, who passed away on February 9, over a century and a half ago. To honor his memory on this day the entire world commemorates the Greek language, which is the richest and most impeccable language of all time!

The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation for the Sacred See of Saint Andrew is a new initiative of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. As part of the program to achieve financial independence, the Chair of the Communications Committee, Aphrodite Skeadas, assisted by Archon John Mindala and volunteer George Orfanakos, in coordination with the Development Committee led by Father Alex Karloutsos, is establishing very ambitious and innovative initiatives in support of the various giving programs.
The website, developed by the Archdiocesan Department of Internet Ministries, will serve as the main point of information and advertisement regarding the various events of the 200th Anniversary across the Archdiocese and throughout the Omogenia, as well as provide access to the many educational programs that will be offered online and, when possible, in person.
With the blessings of the Exarch His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, the Order of St. Andrew is now accepting online applications for the high office of Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
