Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
Eleventh Sunday of Matthew
August 23, 2020
ATTEND LITURGY VIRTUALLY OR IN PERSON
If you have successfully registered for a service, please do NOT register for two or three consecutive services, but rather allow other parishioners an opportunity to register. During the re-opening, a limited number of households will be permitted at each worship service. This registration system will limit the number of attendees at any given service to 40 parishioners. If slots are still open 30 minutes before registration closes at 9:00 pm the evening before the service, then you may register.
Please note the instructions for registering and attending.
As always, you can view the Liturgy online.
Please view the Liturgy online here.
Please arrive early to service so you can be checked in. Ideally, arriving before 9:45. Check in will include answering the below COVID-19 questions and having your temperature taken.
Please review the following COVID-19 questions and if you answer “yes” to any of them, then we ask that you not sign up for a church service at this time.
- Do you have any of the following symptoms that are new or worsening: cough, congestion, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, fever or feeling feverish, chills, muscle pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea?
- Have you had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 21 days?
- Have you tested positive in the last 21 days for COVID-19?
Please be mindful of your fellow parishioners by not registering for all services.

VIRTUAL SUNDAY SCHOOL
We will be starting a virtual Sunday School on Sunday August 30th. We will be grouping the kids by grades and you will not need to register your children, because we will be using last year’s information. However, if you have any information that has changed (email or phone number) please let us know so we can get that information to the teachers. Email new information to shaejn@yahoo.com.
We look forward to catching up with all of you and hope that this will be an easy process.

AUGUST 23rd STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Thank you for your tremendous generosity in recent months, especially given the incredible challenges most families are facing during this time of such uncertainty. We are grateful for your loyalty and selflessness.
Please either use Abundant Giving, our online giving site, at https://abundant.co/holytrinityraleigh/give, or mail your stewardship donation and/or pledge to 5000 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, NC 27612, as we remain in Phase 2 of our state’s re-opening plan.
If you are unfamiliar with Abundant Giving, we created a short video showing you step-by-step instructions for using the online giving portal. These instructions are located right under the GIVE Online button on the main page of Holy Trinity’s website. Click on the Online Giving Instructions button to be directed to a link and password (GeVCfkN5 – case sensitive) to watch the video.
By now you should have received your quarterly church statement and a stewardship update letter from Fr. Paul. We realize these are difficult times, and appreciate everyone doing their part, in whatever way best suits your family’s needs, to continue supporting Holy Trinity. If you have any questions or concerns about stewardship, please contact Angela Georgallis, Stewardship Co-Chair, directly at 919-339-3169 or acgeorgallis@gmail.com. You can download a stewardship commitment form from the church website, at this link: Stewardship form, if you have not submitted this year’s pledge yet. Again, we thank you for your considerable and constant support.
Stay healthy and safe!
