Rides to Church: If you, or anyone you know, needs a ride to church, please call the office. We will either send a fellow parishioner to pick you up, or call a cab for you. Also, St. Nicholas is compiling a list of individuals who would be interested in picking up fellow parishioners who do not have a ride to church. If you are interested in helping us in this very important ministry, please call the office. It is our hope that everyone who wants to come to St. Nicholas will be able, whether they can drive or not.
Benevolence: Hunger is all around us, even here in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County. Many times, we are asked to distribute food and toiletries to families who are hungry and in need. Please consider bringing non perishable food items and toiletries and leaving them on the shelf in the exo-narthex. Thank you and God Bless You.
MDSC: The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Detroit Summer Camp online registration, for campers and staff, is now open. Programs for youth entering grades 3-11 begins July 1, with Week 1 and young adults entering senior year or college begins June 24-30, Week Zero.
GOYA: We will be selling Greek bread and skordalia after the Liturgy, along with luminaries for Good Friday. We hope you will support our fundraising efforts.
GREEK FESTIVAL SPONSORSHIPS: It’s time to start thinking warm weather and this year’s Ya’ssoo Festival—June 8, 9, 10. This is an ideal way to promote your business to Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities as well as for individuals to support our festival. Project Mexico Update: Thank you to Connie Ziegler, Perry Katsikas, Jarnis Gutierrez and everyone else who donated and helped with our Project Mexico fundraiser. We raised $3,924 of the $7600 needed to cover the cost of building supplies. Our hope is to raise further funds to cover the travel expenses. Philoptochos: Our annual Palm Sunday Luncheon, sponsored by the Philoptochos will be held on April 1 with a Baked Fish Lunch for adults and Macaroni and Cheese with Fish Sticks for children. Tickets are $20/adults and $10/children under 10 and are now on sale during today’s coffee hour or contact Tasia Goffas for tickets at (734) 678-7303. Tickets will not be available at the door so purchase your tickets by next Sunday, March 25 and make plans to attend. Let us begin Holy Week as a St. Nicholas family by joining together for the luncheon.
Easter Baskets for Tots: It’s not too late to donate items for the Easter Baskets for Tots program aiding Saline Social Services. We will accept donations like Easter candy or small toys, as well as monetary donations, through today. Stewardship: Thank you to all our Stewards who supported our Philoptochos Lenten Student Dinner. We had over 20 Orthodox Students, along with Fathers Theodore, Alex and Vasilios. Thank you also to those stewards who donated their treasure to Project Mexico last Sunday. Sixteen of our St Nicholas family will travel to Mexico to build a safe, weather-tight home to help a family in need. This ministry demonstrates St. Nicholas’s commitment to "Putting Our Faith In Action". Our next Stewardship Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00 pm due to Holy Week. Everyone is welcome!
Great Vespers for the feastday of the Annunciation will be held Sat., March 24 at 7:00 pm at the Annunciation Cathedral in Detroit, with the Feast Day Luncheon following the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy on Sun., March 25. We will carpool from St. Nicholas at 5:45 pm on Saturday. If you would like to attend, please contact the office by Wednesday, March 21.

iSacrifice Holy Week Retreat: Mark your calendars! The retreat will take place on Saturday of Lazarus March 31st, following the Divine Liturgy and brunch. The theme this year is iSacrifice and will cover the washing of the feet, the passion, and the resurrection of Christ. Adult discussion and palm cross making with Fr.
