Stewardship
85 households have made Stewardship Commitments to Sanit Basil's in 2021. Over 350 households served by Saint Basil's are yet to do so. Where are you?
We have begun 2021 with a renewed focus on God in our lives. Foundational to God-centered focus in our lives is the actionable experience of stewardship: offering back to God a smalll amount of what He has given to you. With responsible stewardship, comes the abundance of God's Grace. Saint Basil's wants the Grace of God to flow richly in the life of our community and the individual lives of the faithful, therefore, Saint Basil's continues to offer a Stewardship program to help facilitate the experience of good stewardship in the lives of our parishioners.
Please see the stewardship letter attached and complete the stewardship card attached to this weekly bulletin, and return it to the church office this week, or this weekend by bringing it with you to the Divine Liturgy this Sunday.
Your good stewardship helps our community grow forward toward greater stability and service to Christ. Saint Basil's has been there for all of us -- will you be there for Saint Basil's?
Prayer of Protection from the Coronavirus
O God Almighty, Lord of heaven and earth, and of all creation visible and invisible, in Your ineffable goodness, look down upon Your people gathered in Your name. Be our helper and defender in this day of affliction. You know our weakness. You hear our cry in repentance and contrition of heart. O Lord who loves mankind deliver us from the impending threat of the corona virus. Send Your Angel to watch over us and protect us. Grant health and recovery to those suffering from this virus. Guide the hands of physicians and preserve those who are healthy that we may continue to serve You in peace and glorify Your most honorable and majestic Name, of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
