Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
SUNDAY SCHOOL TODAY, MAY 23
Children in Group C will attend class after communion.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Today is the last day of Sunday school. After a short summer break we will resume Sunday School classes in September. Though we don’t know the exact format, we will be working diligently during the summer months to create a program that will be enriching for the children of our parish. We thank our Sunday school staff for their dedication and for providing a unique classroom experience for our children during this strange academic year. Thanks to Corrine and Stephanie Dubay, Georgia Genna, Mary and Derek Piper, Olivia and Spike Sintros and Thea and Theona Tully. Thank you to parents who brought their children to us for lessons about our faith. Have a safe and happy summer.
OUR DEEPEST THANKS
We extend to the many faithful and friends of the parish who have made special donations during Great Lent, Holy Week and Pascha. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and your support for the many ministries of our parish gives glory to our Lord. Please see our Inserts and Flyers section for a more detailed listing.
METROPOLIS AWARD RECIPIENTS SELECTED
We extend our congratulations to Spike and Olivia Sintros, this year’s designees of our parish. The Parish Council unanimously selected them honoring their dedication and love for our parish and their tireless participation and leadership in many of the ministries of our community.
This year the Award Dinner will take place on Sunday, June 13, at Lombardo’s in a hybrid manner. Each parish is allowed their recipient and one guest. The presentation of the awards will start at 6 pm and everyone can watch the live streaming of the event. Additionally, the recipients of the 2020 Metropolis Awards will receive their award the same evening.
Like last year, we are encouraged to honor our parish recipients by purchasing a ticket. Each ticket purchased will provide 7 meals to help feed those who are food insecure in New England as well as healthcare workers. The meals are being provided through Lombardo’s and donations will be made by the Metropolis to other parts New England. Please go to www.boston.goarch.org to purchase your ticket(s) today.
