GRADUATE SUNDAY JUNE 13
The Transfiguration parish and the Transfiguration Philoptochos are pleased to honor our graduates today, June 13, following services. Our high school and college graduates will be recognized for their tremendous efforts and accomplishments. Please make plans to attend services and to honor these wonderful members of the Transfiguration family.
DRIVE THRU FESTIVAL PROVES SUCCESSFUL
We thank all who participated in this year’s Drive-Thru Grecian Festival on June 5th. The success of this unique effort of the parish is due to the hard work of Costas Tsioulis and the festival committee, as well as, all who help prepare before the event, during the event, and of course the clean-up. We also thank everyone who helped underwrite the festival. Your support as always reflects the love you have for our parish.
METROPOLIS AWARD RECIPIENTS SELECTED
We extend our congratulations to Spike and Olivia Sintros, this year’s recipients from our parish of the Metropolis Award. The Parish Council unanimously selected them honoring their dedication and love for our parish and their tireless participation and leadership in many of the ministries of our community.
They will receive the award at the Award Dinner this evening at Lombardo’s. The dinner will take place in a hybrid manner. The presentation of the awards will start at 6 pm and everyone can watch the live streaming of the event. Go to www.boston.goarch.org. Additionally, the recipients of the 2020 Metropolis Awards will receive their award the same evening.
You are still welcome to ‘purchase tickets’ in honor of Spike and Olivia. Your donations will be used to donate 7 meals to help feed those who are food insecure in New England as well as healthcare workers. The meals are being provided through Lombardo’s and donations will be made by the Metropolis to other parts New England. Please go to www.boston.goarch.org to purchase your ticket(s) today.
