Thanksgiving Baskets - Kinsley Aswani, son of Hoggin & Nicoletta, has decided to take on the Thanksgiving Basket donations for his Senior Project this year:
My name is Kinsley Aswani and I am a senior at Freedom Area High School. I have decided to take on the annual Thanksgiving Basket fundraising event through my church and collect donations to help needy families for my Senior Project this year. My goal is to increase the number of baskets from 45 to 50. The cost of filling one basket for a family is approximately $55, so any donations would be greatly appreciated. All donations are to be given to Harriet Sickles or Sophia Chickos, but I will also be available the next several Sundays in the Narthex after church and in the hall during coffee hour if you are interested in making a donation. The boxes will be packed on November 20th and delivered on November 21st. My goal is to help as many needy families in the community as I can, and give them a Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for your support!
Office Positions Filled - Sophia Chickos and Georgia Niznik will be operating the day-to-day operations of the office and Rita Pappas will remotely be working on publications and other tasks. Thank you to these wonderful parishioners for taking on this job, may it be for the Glory of God!
2021 Stewardship Drive Is Coming to a Close: Part of being a member in good standing is having a pledge card submitted, please make sure you have a pledge card submitted for upcoming general assemblies and elections. 2022 Drive will start later this Fall. We have 135 members in 2021 but we still have time to reach our goal of 200 Stewards!
