GREEK FESTIVAL SURVEY!
Earlier this year, the Church Council asked a small number of individuals to do a deep analysis of the Raleigh Greek Festival and make recommendations for the long-term future of the event. The group is busy studying all aspects of the event including collecting what our community thinks and feels about the festival. While they are using multiple ways to collect information, one critical way will be gaining input from our community using an anonymous survey. Our hope is that everyone will complete the survey. You can access the survey online at: https://goo.gl/forms/yj1VzKCUmauYX9j13 The survey will also be available at the coffee hour after church in both paper and computer versions. Please make a sincere effort to complete this survey as soon as possible. We hope to begin analysis of the survey by March 20th but would prefer to have the survey completed sooner if possible. Thank you for giving time to this important task
GREEK INDEPENDENCE DAY
Dear Holy Trinity Community, Greek Independence Day, March 25th is fast approaching. AHEPA will be celebrating this day on Sunday, March 24th after Church. In remembrance of this day, AHEPA will have a short program with poems presented by our Greek School and young members from our Hellenic dance group will entertain us with a couple of traditional dances. In addition, we will be serving a Lenten luncheon. The adult lunch will include; the main course of shrimp, pasta, Greek-style green beans, a salad, rolls, a dessert, and coffee/tea/water. The advance adult ticket’s purchase {3/03 through 3/17} will be $15.00 each {$18.00 for day of the event}. The kid’s lunch will have fish sticks, fries, a salad, rolls, a dessert, and coffee/tea/water. The advanced kid’s ticket {17 and under} will be $6.00 each {$8.00 for day of the event}. PLEASE help us out and purchase your tickets early. We need to estimate how many meals to prepare. In advance of your support, AHEPA wants to say “Thank You” for helping us in honoring our Greek heritage.

PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
Since we are approaching the Lenten season, we are turning our focus on others. We are collecting summer clothing and shoes for men, women and children to send to Venezuela. Elham Flaherty has a co-worker whose family needs these items. The collection boxes are in the Fellowship Hall at the St. John’s table. We will be shipping the packages on March 27th. Philoptochos is sponsoring our Lenten meal on Wednesday, March 13th. Please bring a covered dish and serving utensil in your own dish in order to make clean up easier for our ladies. Our Rise Against Hunger will take place on Saturday, March 30th. We are hosting this event with AHEPA and we need 50 people to sign up to package over 10,000 meals for people in need. We will be offering Tsoureki (Easter Bread) for sale. The braided loaves are $15 each and are prepared by Julie Theocles and her crew.
Our next meeting is March 17th after the Divine Liturgy.
PHILOPTOCHOS SUPPORTING A FAMILY IN VENEZUELA

Please be considerate in donating only gently used clothes. We will be collecting clothes from Feb 24th- Mar 27th. Please drop your gently used clothes in the plastic bins found in the Fellowship Hall.
