Beginning this past Thursday, the Lowell Department of Health has issued a mandate that at all public gatherings including houses of worship masks must be worn by all, vaccinated and unvaccinated. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter for the health and safety of all.
FR TOM ASSUMES NEW PASTORAL ASSIGNMENT
Sunday, January 2, 2022, will be Fr. Tom’s last Sunday at the Transfiguration parish. He will be installed as the Dean of the Annunciation Cathedral in Boston on Sunday, January 9th. The Parish Council is in communication with the Metropolis to fill the vacancy left by Fr. Tom’s departure. Fr. Tom welcomes the opportunity to greet you before he leaves, though he is certain to find his way back to visit from time to time. See Fr. Tom’s letter to the community in the flyer section.
TRANSFIGURATION MITTEN TREE
In the Fellowship Hall is a Christmas ‘mitten tree’. We welcome your donation of new mittens, scarves, and/or winter hats to decorate the tree. As we have done in years past, these items will be donated to families in need. The tree will remain up through Christmas. Thank you for your participation.
