GREEK INDEPENDENCE DAY LUNCHEON
AHEPA will be celebrating Greek Independence Day this Sunday, March 24th after Church with a short program presented by our Greek School. Young members from our Hellenic dance group will entertain us with traditional dances and we will also be serving a Lenten luncheon. The advance adult ticket’s purchase {3/03 through 3/17} will be $15.00 each {$18.00 for day of the event}. The advanced kid’s ticket {17 and under} will be $6.00 each {$8.00 for day of the event}. In advance of your support, AHEPA wants to say “Thank You” for helping us honor our Greek heritage.

If you pre-ordered Blueprint for the Little Church, they have arrived at the bookstore. There are a few additional copies available for purchase. Also, some parishioners have expressed a desire for the new liturgy books. They are available at the bookstore .

LENTEN LECTURE SERIES CONTINUES THIS WEDNESDAY, March 27th
Our Lenten Lecture series is in full swing and we will be hosting Michael Bishop who will be sharing his experience with helping homeless veterans in the Triangle. GOYA will be providing a baked potato dinner.

The first five Fridays in Great Lent we celebrate the Mother of Our God, The Theotokos and Ever Virgin Mary. Please join us as we ask for her intercessions Friday nights at 6:30 pm.

LADIES PHILOPTOCHOS SELLING EASTER BREAD
The Ladies Philoptochos will be selling Tsoureki (Traditional Greek Easter Bread) made by our members for $15 per loaf. They are beautifully packaged in a box. Orders will be taken in the hall on March 31st, April 7th and April 14th. Orders may be picked up April 20th at the Communion Breakfast following Liturgy.

Parents of little ones, please keep in mind when your little one is unhappy, our Cry Room is available and has a big screen TV where you can continue to view the Liturgy until you’re ready to return.

Now that we are in Great Lent, it is a great time to check out an inspiring book from our Church Library which has a great resource of books: biographies of saints and books that are inspirational, devotional and informative. Come and browse or use the card catalog to find a book on a subject that interests you. Instructions for checking out a book are posted in the library. Have a blessed Lent.
