A LETTER FROM FR. PAUL CHRISTY
Hello Again My Spiritual Family,
I wanted to let you know that I have decided to cancel tomorrow's service (Friday, September 14) of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross due to the threat of the effects of Hurricane Florence in our area.
I also wanted to let you know that we will be extinguishing all the candles in the sanctuary except the Sleepless Vigil Lamp on the Holy Altar Table (The Light of Christ that is never overtaken by night). We will plan to re-light all the candles (representing your prayers and devotion) on Sunday, September 16 for the Divine Liturgy assuming conditions are safe by then.
We may be without electricity, but the Church is never without power.
In Service to Christ,
Fr. Paul Christy
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOLUNTEERED FOR THE 2018 GREEK FESTIVAL!
